April 7, 2017 — Jessica Hartbauer

DENVER, April 07, 2017 —  CoServ Electric  (CoServ) located in Corinth, TX has hired SSP Innovations to provide a consulting workshop on the new Esri Utility Network beta technology, via the SSP Utility Network Jumpstart.

The consulting engagement will provide CoServ with access to a SAAS-based environment to educate staff on the new editing environment in Esri ArcGIS Pro with pre-configured geoprocessing wrappers to enable electric utility editing and use cases like upstream and downstream tracing, phase-based propagation, and circuit management.

The jumpstart program provides a two-day, onsite knowledge transfer workshop for 7 CoServ staff and continued usage beyond the workshop. The project is scheduled to begin in April.

CoServ was created in 1937 and today has more than 200,000 electric and 100,000 gas customers. CoServ is the second-largest electric cooperative in Texas, and the eighth-largest in the U.S., according to the most recent figures compiled by the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA).
