Esri Partner Conference

Skye Perry Presents at Esri International UC

July 6, 2013 — Skye Perry

Skye PerryThe Esri International User Conference (UC) is upon us starting Sunday 7/7/2013. As with most Esri press over the last couple of years, ArcGIS Online will be a major focus of this conference as Esri continues to push the technology as the new platform for all of GIS.

Toeing that line, I will be presenting at the UC this year on Tuesday, 7/9 at 1:30 PM PT in room 29D on how ArcGIS Online patterns can be implemented within utilities:

UC Presentation

I believe utilities are still struggling with how to best use ArcGIS Online within their organizations. In this presentation we’ll cover the two most important questions utilities (and other organizations as well) can ask themselves when thinking about implementing ArcGIS Online. We’ll cover several examples of how these questions were answered in our industry and the resulting ArcGIS Online applications.

I’ll also be putting out a call to everyone for new questions and ideas on ArcGIS Online. If you read our articles at SSP on a regular basis you know we strive to research, prototype, and then write about how ArcGIS Online and other technologies can be used within utilities and telecoms. We always welcome feedback and ideas for what you all want to see in future articles. You can always send us your suggestions via our contact page.

As a reference, here are the most popular ArcGIS Online articles we’ve posted so far:

So if you’ll be in San Diego this week, please attend my presentation on Tuesday afternoon. And if you are a regular reader please say hello afterward!
