DENVER, APRIL 14, 2017 — New Braunfels Utilities (NBU) has hired SSP Innovations for a 10.2.1c GIS Upgrade covering all aspects of their current ArcFM GIS system and related database and application components.

The goal of the project is to upgrade all systems while maintaining the current functionality. The project engagement began in March.

SSP is working jointly with GISinc to support a full upgrade of NBU’s Esri and Cityworks applications at the utility.

New Braunfels Utilities (NBU) is one of 2,000 community-owned, not-for-profit, public power electric utilities in the nation. NBU also provides water and sewer/wastewater services. The electric utility delivers power to over 28,000 electric meters in south central Texas.
