Here at SSP Innovations, we do incredible things every day. Be it our superior solution-based consulting, resulting in the best solutions for our customers, to our amazing track record in delivery, to being an Esri award-winning ArcGIS Online Partner, to our custom software development tools…to being all around nice guys (and girls) in the industry…we do great things.
Today we introduce our next great thing: SSP Whiteboard Videos. The format couldn’t be simpler: an SSP expert in front of a whiteboard, explaining industry topics that our customers want to know about.
We’re looking to publish new videos as often as possible. Is there a topic you’re struggling with that you’d like to see explained over video rather than a blog post? A topic you’d like to know more about? Or even a topic you’d like a 101 primer on?
We’re here for you. Ask and you shall receive…it’s easy, leave a comment below explaining what you’d like us to cover. Ask us over our Twitter handle @SSPInnovations. Or simply send an email or use our contact us page.
Without further ado, for our very first SSP Whiteboard Video, we’re going to be talking about an ArcGIS Online question many of our customers and GIS Managers and Directors around the industry have asked. Always ready to tackle anything, our very own Skye Perry is in front of the whiteboard to explain how your data is safe if it’s stored in the cloud. Watch and enjoy!

Good stuff Skye. I will share this very easy to understand presentation with the team. We, City of Roseville EU,hopes to actively pursue AGOL deployment services over the next 6-12 months. Thanks
MIke Young says:
Hey that video was pretty good. This is getting scary – I understood all of that. Keep up the good work.
Yo brother from another mother…

It was recently brought to my attention that in the video I ignored my own diagram and wrote the wrong security ports on the whiteboard! For official diagram purposes, please use our posted diagram at https://sspinnovations.com/blog/2014/12/16/recommended-architecture-arcgis-online
The issue in the video is that I quote the two SSL ports as 6433 and 433 instead of the correct values from my diagram of 6443 and 443 respectively.
