Caption Contest – Here are Your Winners!

December 8, 2014 — Dean Perry

DENVER, Dec. 08, 2014 — We previously told you all about The Most Interesting Man in GIS, and we challenged you to give us your best captions to his portrait. Well, we’re back this month to present the top five award-winning entries!

Remember, these are all in good fun. Without further ado, we will start with Winning Entry Number Five, from Trey Price at Denton Municipal Electric (@treypiano):

#5

Trey seems to have had a tough time with an upgrade. But I’m sure he got some really great integration code out of it!

On to Winner Number Four, from Kevin Burke at Redding Electric Utilities (@kburke96001):

#4

So wrong, and yet, so funny.

Winner Number Three is next, from Tom Powers at Novara GeoSolutions (@tommpowers):

#3THAT’S RIGHT!

Next up is the contest Runner-Up Entry, which mysteriously came in almost identically from two different readers. From Philip Davenport at Middle Tennessee EMC and Andrew Jack at MLGW (@ajack99) (don’t worry guys, you’ll each get a prize):

#2

Seems we have a disturbing trend we might need to address with Mr. Interesting… For the record, SSP does NOT endorse testing in production, nor drinking beer while doing so.

And finally, your iPad winning entry is below!

It comes to us from a repeat-winner (he’s that good folks), Kevin Burke at Redding Electric Utilities (@kburke96001):

Winning Caption

Thanks to all of you who sent in entries! There were many, many funny captions and we had a really hard time picking these winners.Winners – you’ll be hearing from someone over here soon to get your mailing address.
