DENVER, JANUARY 03, 2018 — Denton County Electric Cooperative, Inc. d/b/a CoServ Electric (CoServ) located in Corinth, TX, has hired SSP Innovations to lead an upgrade of their electric GIS to 10.2.1d. The project will provide CoServ with a version upgrade to enhance their existing editing, design and outage management software. SSP will lead the ArcGIS project that includes upgrades to existing customizations and integrations along with support for full system testing and training to prepare CoServ for the using the new system. The project is scheduled to begin in February.

CoServ is the second-largest electric cooperative in Texas, and the eighth-largest in the U.S., according to the most recent figures compiled by the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA).
