The utility network is coming, and as a utility GIS community we have an opportunity to make it a transformational and positive shift for all the stakeholders across the utility enterprise. Join your colleagues and subject matter experts in the field to exchange ideas on best practices needed to develop an overarching utility network transition strategy in support of your Enterprise’s business planning and operations decisions. This free moderated session will help you in understanding and planning the key steps required to mitigate any risks and challenges for an overarching ArcGIS Platform and utility network deployment strategy. Explore how best to align user and business needs to achieve key business and operational objectives, including:

• Ensuring key business needs are identified upfront to determine the ArcGIS Platform and utility network upgrade architecture and functional capabilities
• Determining and prioritizing the critical factors, such as data needing to be cleansed and updated to streamline the upgrade and to take full advantage of the ArcGIS Platform
• Establishing a comprehensive deployment plan for budgeting and sequencing the spatial data, technology, organizational, governance, staffing, and associated process changes based on business requirements
