Senior Web Developer

Like the GIS Software developer/consultant role, this position requires a candidate with strong web development background who can join the team and make an immediate impact. The candidate must have experience developing and supporting web applications with a proficiency in ASP.NET MVC and C#.  Solid understanding of HTML 5, CSS3, JavaScript including jQuery or Angular is required. Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and CI with Jenkins a plus.

Senior GIS Software Consultant

The ideal candidate for the GIS software developer/consultant role would be someone with strong programming skills who also wants to be client facing in a consulting capacity.  The role will focus on gathering requirements and developing custom solutions utilizing Microsoft C#.net, Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle technology for SSP’s electric, gas, water, and fiber customers. The development will focus on GIS mapping solutions utilizing both client server and web development methodologies. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and a quick learner who can thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment. The Senior Consultant role will focus on implementing ESRI, Schneider Electric, and custom SSP GIS/work management solutions at North American utilities. Projects require this role to be comfortable and competent, with both Project Management as well as Project Engineering/Technical responsibilities.

GIS Software Developer/Consultant

C# Developer

Like the GIS software developer/consultant role, the C# Developer role will focus on developing custom solutions utilizing Microsoft C#.net and Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle technology for SSP’s electric, gas, water, and fiber customers. The development will focus on GIS mapping solutions utilizing both client server and web development methodologies. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and a quick learner who can thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

Sales & Account Manager 

SSP seeks a self-starting salesperson to grow our distribution GIS business. This individual will sell SSP’s industry-leading products and services into the US utility and telecommunications markets. While some existing accounts will be provided, and a portion of incoming leads will be routed to this role based on geographic and market-based territory split, success in this position will rely primarily on the applicant’s ability to grow SSP’s client base by bringing new business at new utility and telco prospects. A proven track record of sales growth in B2B positions is required, while a significant contact list in utilities GIS is preferred but not imperative. The selected applicant will join a small team of hard-working, positive salespeople that share the goal of growing SSP’s market share across all of our business sectors, while solving real problems with smart solutions for our customers. The ideal candidate will maintain honesty and integrity coupled with an aggressive instinct for finding leads, nurturing them to opportunities, and winning.
