DENVER, NOVEMBER 11, 2017 — SSP Innovations sponsored the first annual CoServ Charity Foundation (CCF) Clay Shoot, put on by an SSP client of many years, CoServ Electric. The sponsorship provided another way for SSP to continue its ongoing effort to support the charitable initiatives of our clients.
“This helps people who are disadvantaged in the community," SSP Innovations Sales & Account Manager David Blodgett said. "We plan to sponsor this event in future years as well.”
Proceeds from the CCF Clay Shoot, which this year amounted to $23,000, will go toward a general fund grant that CCF uses to help people in need. In the past, money from the general grant has gone to "assist other electric cooperatives that experience natural disasters, veterans' organizations, and other entities," CoServ Director of Community Relations Vicki Sargent stated in this news release.

We were proud to see other familiar faces from our IT and GIS projects join in the clay shooting as well! Shown here is Jason Dietrich on the far left:

SSP makes an effort to support our clients' philanthropy. While we can't sponsor all events, we'd like to know how our clients are giving back to their communities. If you have a charitable event and think SSP may be a good sponsor, reach out to us to here to let us know.
