Lincoln Electric System has engaged SSP Innovations to provide a two-day knowledge transfer workshop on the new Esri Utility Network Beta Release. SSP will provide LES access to a SAAS-based sandbox environment for each of its power users allowing for exposure to and testing of the new Esri Utility Network beta technology using the ArcGIS Pro product front-end.
The environment will provide LES with pre-configured geoprocessing wrappers to allow for typical electric utility editing use cases like upstream and downstream tracing, phase-based propagation, and circuit management. The project will begin in March.
LES services approximately 135,000 electric customers within Lancaster County in Nebraska, comprising the cities of Lincoln, Prairie Home, Waverly, Walton, Cheney, and Emerald.
